 Course Description:

Fasting in the month of Ramadhan is one of the five pillars of Islam and is fardh (compulsory) upon every muslim who is sane and mature. As commanded in the noble Quran in Surah Baqarah verse 183, Allah SWT has ordered ”O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain righteousness.”

This course focuses on the main aspects of fasting in the month of Ramadhan whereby it seeks to integrate in the learner the understanding of the laws of fasting and how to obtain maximum benefit and rewards during the month of Ramadhan. It would also clarify any doubts or issues one may have concerning fasting

Join us in this special Pre-Ramadan Workshop, covering in detail the merits, legal and spiritual aspects of Fasting, Taraweeh, Zakaah and I’tikaf.

Zakaat (Week 3)

• What is zakat?
• How to calculate zakat
• Ways and persons to distribute your zakat
• Practical implementation
• Sadaqat ul Fitr

 

Eid (Week 4)

• Taraweeh
• ‘Itikaaf
• Eid Salaah and Eid Salaah

Course Venue:

NureIslam Masjid: Women Class 9 first floor education block

Men Class 7 first floor education block

Course Format & what will be provided:

Teaching style with interactive teaching, Q&A. A course booklet containing all relevant notes will be provided along with a detailed explanation by the Ustadh to the students.

The course is open to brothers and sisters, teenagers and adults.  Limited spaces please pre-book your spaces

Course Fee:

The course fee is only optional $150 ttd.
